Paul Lun, whose family had been in the apparel business for over 50 years in Hong Kong and Malaysia, was earning his master's degree in finance in California. Paul's brothers suggested he sell some of the family's novelty T-shirts in the United States, and le top was born! Following the polyester-infused 1970's, the thick interlock, combed-cotton shirts were received with joy! Chris Lun joined her husband in the business, and le top began to evolve into an extensive line of children's clothing. They listened to their loyal customers, big fans of the soft 100% cotton turtlenecks they started with, and expanded their fabrications, designs and size ranges - and today le top encompasses the entire spectrum of wardrobe, from layette to swimwear and jackets! Everything le top has done is the result of listening to customers - hearing what they love - and what they would like to see in the future! le top (corporate identity: C.K. Enterprises) is a family owned corporation who's staff includes Paul and Chris Lun, and many long time personnel - some of whom have been with le top for 20 years! The le top team includes approximately 50 employees at our corporate headquarters in California, sales representatives in various cities across the United States, including our corporate sales office in New York City, and support staff in Hong Kong and Malaysia who oversee production. The diverse le top family includes talented designers, always working on whimsical new designs; support staff, consistently providing great customer service; warehouse staff, shipping our clothing to some of the best stores in the United States and administrative staff, invariably looking for people who enjoy providing great clothes for children.
